The essence of simplicity is enough to make any bride-to-be swoon. There is something magical and whimsical about the idea of “less is more” which breathed to life the vision behind this Northern California spring-themed shoot. The inspiration for this shoot was romantic, with a hint of elegance containing luxurious hues. The color palette was unembellished, but powerfully beautiful, with rich crèmes, blushes, and undertones of gold. The floral designs greatly contributed to a dreamy, timeless feel. You could almost hear the birds chirping amongst the gorgeous, spring florals. Nestled between the rolling hills in Santa Clara, California, The Loft Photo Studio breathed the very essence of our vision with its sheer white drapes, taupe walls, and pristine cherry wood floors.
From the florist: “My inspiration for the floral aspect of this shoot came from the changing of seasons. When the earth warms, and the ice melts, the tiniest blossoms push through to meet the sun with a stunning display of color. Tulips blooming from their bulbs are the first sign of spring, and soon the fields will be crowded with an abundance of flora and fauna.
I chose the blush tulips for their simple femininity, and a myriad of textured greens to be reminiscent of the over abundance of the various species all coming to life in spring. The stem of the bouquet is wrapped with blush velvet ribbon, to match the organic nature of the mossy branches with an elegant luxurious feel. The nest of robin’s eggs represents the bringing to life, symbolizing a start to the new life with your soul mate by your side.”
