Four semesters down, two more to go! I’ve been reflecting a lot over the last few weeks and am finding it difficult to believe that I am about to begin my third year of nursing school and that my journey is nearing its end.
The past four months have stretched me in ways that I could not have imagined and I am so grateful to have been home with my family for Christmas. This semester was all about community health, mental health, and pharmacology. Clinical this semester differed from previous semesters as we were out in the community instead of the hospital. For part of our clinical experience we partnered with a local hospital to help run flu clinics at various schools. These clinic days were some of my favorite days of the semester as we interacted with students and were providing preventative medical care.
I am so grateful for deepened relationships with gals walking through this journey with me and could not imagine going through this program without them. God has provided amazingly and He has touched my heart in a newfound way this semester and I am excited for what lies ahead. Until next semester, friends.
